The Lincolnshire Scouts Training Team provide support to all Adults and Young Leaders across the County though the local District training teams. We are able to support with:

General Training Updates

- Under new measures, Chairs, Secretaries and Treasurers must now complete mandatory ongoing learning if they have been in post for more than 5 years.
- As mentioned in National Communications, now is the time to focus on any Safeguarding and Safety training.

Training Courses

This course will take place at Shacklewell Hollow Campsite, on the A606 Empingham Road, Stamford, We have added the programme so that if you want to attend individual modules then you can do so, the programme for this course is below: Course Director is Debbi Rogers, DCC Young Leaders, her email address can be found under the link to the County Training Team Directory. This course will cost just £35 per person and covers accommodation, food, beverages and modules resources. There is indoor accommodation, but should you prefer to camp please indicate when booking. If you would like to attend this course, please contact your Local Training Manager (LTM) or Wendy Smith, email address: training@lincolnshirescouts.org.uk as soon as possible. When she receives your completed booking form and your booking fee she will then provide you with a set of Joining Instructions, Course Programme, and Route/Map. When you receive these and your receipt you will have a place on the course. Should you need online banking, please ask. This Section Leader training course is based on a first come, first served basis and places are highly sought after, so it is important that you get your completed application form and payment in to the course administrator, Wendy Smith (County Training Administrator) as soon as possible. If you need to do the Shacklewell Modular, the Sudbrooke Modular and a Nights Away Course, you can book all three together and get a 10% discount.
