Tim Kidd talked about why resilience matters in his Blog of 3 December 2019 ( read the blog here ) and reflected that he had  just been listening to Bear Grylls on Radio 2.

Bear was asked what he’d take on an expedition and his answer, Tim thought, was quite brilliant: ‘That never-give-up spirit.’ Tim felt that summed up everything we’re doing as volunteers. Giving young people the courage, positivity and resilience to keep going, even in the toughest times.
